Prachodanam-2019 the Mega Show
PSSS is delighted to let everyone know that we would be organizing a mega show “Prachodanam – 2019” on 28th of December, 2019 at Thyagaraj Stadium, New Delhi as a part of the Annual Day celebrations. Prominent actors, comedians and musicians would be presenting their talents in the Mega Event. Expecting everyone’s support and cooperation to make this event a grand success.
Computer Lab
Samsung group initiated Lakshya project by installing a fully fledged Computer Lab for a social cause to our dear children in Neb Sarai Non Formal centre. Computer lab was inaugurated on 25th October 2019 by Mr. Man Chey, President Samsung, SDS India Ltd, under the direct supervision of Prachodana Social Service Society. The day was solemnized with the presence of H.E Jacob Mar Barnabas. The function started with a welcome speech by Fr. Mathew Vadakkekuttu (Director, PSSS), followed by the presidential address by His Excellency Bishop Barnabas.
Creativity of Students with Paper Bag Making Activity
Teachers of Non-Formal centre Nebsarai conducted a workshop regarding paper bag making. Students enjoyed the session very well. By incorporating the habit of using paper bags instead of plastic, will help children follow eco –friendly habits for life. To effectively implement this habit of using paper bags instead of plastic bags among school children, we have initiated a paper bag making activity in schools across the country.
Give a warm hug to the poor-“winter clothes distribution”
PSSS annually takes the responsibility of distributing winter clothes to the underprivileged in the streets and slums in our society. This year also PSSS would like to meet the expectations of these underprivileged brothers and sisters of us by distributing winter clothes for them with the help of our kind hearted supporters. Could you please take a step forward in supporting this noble venture by your generous contributions!
UDRR (Urban Disaster Risk Resilience), free medical check- up camp
PSSS is planning to organize a medical camp and a health orientation programme to fight against the epidemics suffered by the underprivileged women and children in our society under UDRR project on 12th November, 2019 at Mansarovar Park. DNip team would be conducting the camp.
